Brain Hologram G: Large Scale Brain Networks

Large Scale Brain Network Pathways. Includes a 296-page manual. Connectivity model of the cerebral cortex, where cortical function is a product of various areas of the cortex connected in a network, rather than the traditional pathway model of cortical connectivity.

7 major networks, as well as many other networks, have been identified, including The Default Mode Network, The Salience Network, The Central Executive Network, The Dorsal Attention Network, The Multiple Demand Network, The Ventral Attention Network, The Language Network, The Medial Temporal Lobe (Memory) Network, and many others.

In 2018, the Human Connectome Project identified 180 functional parcellations in the human cerebral cortex.

This workshop provides students with:

  • New Formatting System for all 180 functional human cortical areas
  • A 296-page manual
  • Balances for 14 Networks, including techniques for balancing within a network, interactions between networks, and underpinning systems of the Ascending Reticular Activating System & Thalamic Circuits
  • Details about what issues are associated with each network.
  • Details of the functions of all of the 180 cortical parcellations
